Kosovo aligned itself with allies in supporting the democracy in Venezuela

Prishtina, 5 June 2020 – Republic of Kosovo aligned itself with allies to reconfirm the support for the National Assembly of Venezuela and its legitimate Members of Parliament under the interim leading of President Juan Guaido.

On this occasion, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Mrs. Meliza Haradinaj – Stublla, condemned the efforts of the illegitimate regime of Nicolas Maduro to abuse the only remaining democratic institution by unlawfully appointing a Member of Parliament, supporter of his regime, as President of the National Assembly.

This is unacceptable for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of the Republic of Kosovo. Therefore, Minister Haradinaj – Stublla calls on all parties to consider the Democratic Transition Framework as a roadmap for peacefully solving problems, thus guaranteeing stability and prosperity for Venezuela.
