Deputy Minister Ahmeti received in a meeting the Italian delegation headed by the Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs

Prishtina, 29 June 2022 - Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Mr Kreshnik Ahmeti, received in a meeting the delegation from Italy, headed by the Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Mr Bendetto Della Vedova.

The meeting focused on the further development of very good relations between the two countries. The deepening of cooperation in the field of security and defense was considered of great importance, especially after the military aggression of the Russian Federation in Ukraine and its effect in the region of Southeast Europe.

Based on the purpose of both diplomacies to connect our citizens as much as possible, they discussed the need to deepen cooperation in the field of economy and culture, and the assistance for easier movement of citizens towards both countries.

Mr Ahmeti thanked Mr Della Vedova for the visit and for the permanent support of Italy for Kosovo. The meeting was considered very positive, while the discussions between the two delegations are expected to be materialized by bilateral agreements from the relevant Ministries.
