Prishtina, July 4, 2022 - The Deputy Prime Minister, at the same time the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Mrs. Donika Gërvalla Schwarz, together with the Deputy Minister, Mrs. Liza Gashi, today at the meeting they received a delegation from the state of Iowa, who are visiting the Republic of Kosovo.
The Deputy Prime Minister, thanking them for the visit, the friendship and close relationship with the state of Iowa is very important and valuable for the Republic of Kosovo she said.
Recalling the visit she had to this country a week ago, Minister Gërvalla said that the fields of cooperation between the two countries are numerous, and their arrival in Kosovo is a good step for their concretization.
Gërvalla, said that this visit also serves to further strengthen the relationship between the two countries, and is a good opportunity to learn from each other, and to exchange different experiences.
The delegation of 40 people, including journalists, civil society activists and others, was also greeted by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Mrs. Liza Gashi.
She said that the Republic of Kosovo is very interested in deepening cooperation with the state of Iowa, and that they are working in this direction together with Iowa Sister State.
Representatives of this delegation thanked Minister Gërvalla for the reception, saying that they are happy to have such good friends in Kosovo, and that the state of Kosovo is and will always remain a friendly country for them.
Both parties have exchanged gifts as a sign of thanks and friendship.
